We had an "eggs"tra special morning with an egg hunt facilitated by our high school National Honor Society and Hornet Academy! A surprise visit by our Bunny was a highlight as well! Thank you to our awesome visitors!!!

For nearly 40 years, March has been officially designated for the observance of Music In Our Schools Month 🎶 the time of year when music education becomes the focus of schools and communities across the nation. The purpose is to raise awareness of the importance of music education for all children – and to remind citizens that school is where all children should have access to music.
Join us in celebrating our very own elementary music teacher, Miss Ruthie Vinson (soon to be Mrs. Lauhoff) who brings the joy of music daily to our students at Chillicothe Elementary Schools!

Marissa from Mrs. Ewbank's class was the only kiddo who volunteered to stack the chairs in their classroom at the end of that day! Way to go!!
Brynlee from Mrs. Marriott's class quickly helped a teacher pick up some student work that the teacher had accidentally knocked off of a bulletin board! So nice!!
Bryson and Abigail from Miss. Holcer's class filled another student's bucket by saying kind words when that student felt nervous! Great job!!
Mrs. Hansen's ENTIRE class filled Coach Coult's bucket! He said they were awesome listeners and they showed outstandingly good behavior during PE!!

Bryer from Mrs. Bonderer's class shared his jump rope at recess with another student whose rope broke! So nice!
Kashton from Mrs. Ewbank's class without being asked, held the door open for a teacher, not once but twice! Thank you Kashton!
Skylar from Mrs. Ewbank's class helped to comfort a friend who was very upset. Skylar said, "I just wanted to cheer him up!" Great job!

We're eggs*specting at CES! Our kindergarten veterinary tech, Noah Conego is overseeing the countdown with our egg hatching experiment with an incubator. Students are so "eggs"cited for our chicks arrival prior to spring break!
