The Chillicothe R-II School District administration would like to thank all CES parents for their patience and cooperation with the new traffic procedures at the Chillicothe Elementary School.
Today, Wednesday, we celebrated the first full day of classes at CES. It was a milestone moment as all parents of our incoming K-5th graders, along with our dedicated bussing personnel, experienced the excitement of dropping off our young Hornets for their classes in our new facility.
Because this is a brand new process, Assistant R-II Superintendent, Dr. Brian Sherrow, encouraged parents to exhibit patience as we refine our traffic plan for parent and bus pick-up and drop-off during this initial week of school.
"We are committed to ensuring a smooth and efficient process for everyone involved," Sherrow said, adding, "As we move forward, we are confident that any kinks will smooth out, leading to an even more streamlined experience."
To enhance the morning flow at CES, Sherrow encouraged parents to consider enrolling their students in our bussing service or explore carpooling opportunities. Both, he explained, are great ways to safely contribute to a smoother and more efficient morning routine while also promoting a sense of community.
Welcome back, Chillicothe R-II Hornets!
