We are delighted to welcome Jennifer Plummer as our new School Resource Officer at Chillicothe Elementary School and Chillicothe Early Learning Center! Deputy Plummer brings a wealth of experience and dedication to our community.
A proud 1998 graduate of Craig R3 School, Deputy Plummer furthered her education at the Missouri Western State University Law Enforcement Academy, graduating in 2006. She continued her studies, earning an Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from North Central Missouri College in 2014.
Her law enforcement career began in 2007 with the Livingston County Sheriff's Department. In 2013, she gained valuable experience working with the Trenton Police Department before returning to the Livingston County Sheriff's Office in 2020. Over the past two years, Deputy Plummer has served as a Partner in Education for the LCSO with the Chula School District.
Deputy Plummer is a devoted mother to her daughter, Danika, who is currently a sophomore at Chillicothe High School. Outside of her professional duties, she enjoys attending all of Danika’s events and is an avid Kansas City Chief's fan.
SRO Plummer has expressed her enthusiasm for her new role, stating, "I look forward to serving full-time at Chillicothe Elementary and giving back to the school district and community that has given so much to my daughter and myself."
