Our teachers are always learning! Last (Monday) night, they began a study on Ruby K. Payne's Emotional Poverty research. Ruby Payne holds a Ph.D., and is an American educator and author best known for her work on the culture of poverty and its relation to education.

Parent Involvement Day is tomorrow, September 16th, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the CELC playground. Parents, you may park in the CELC parking lot, around the circle drive, and on the exit side of the driveway. You may also park in the CES parking lot and walk around the building. Chillicothe Early Learning Center staff were busy participating in CPR and first aid training this (Friday) morning with Tracy Bradley, from the Chillicothe Fire Department. CPR and first aid training provides our preschool staff with the best chance to save a life.
