It’s been eight months since voters approved a no-tax levy increase for the expansion of the Chillicothe Elementary School, and District officials are excited to report that dirt work has begun. Superintendent Dr. Dan Wiebers reports that Lawhon Construction, the District’s General Contractor for the project, has been on site, preparing for future construction.
“There have been so many people who have worked very hard behind the scenes to get this project going, and I am so appreciative of their efforts,” Dr. Dan Wiebers said. He added, “It’s nice to see progress being made and we look forward to the finished project.”
The District will document the work on the project through social media and its website, so be sure to check back for the latest photos as the expansion continues.
