Even though the regular school year is over, Chillicothe R-II High School counselors have been busy preparing for the coming new year. In an effort to make this year's enrollment process as smooth as possible for families and staff alike, they ask that all new students to CHS next year enroll at the Superintendent's Office, 2807 Hornet Road, as soon as possible so records can be requested from previous schools. School officials must have transcripts from previous schools in order to place students in the correct classes. The Superintendent's Office is open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 3:30 PM.
They also ask that new 9th-12th grade students should keep the following dates in mind:
- All freshmen new to the District should also plant to attend Freshman Orientation on August 9th at 6:00 PM.
- New 10th, 11th, & 12th grade students should attend New Student Day on August 19th. Students may come anytime that day between the hours of 9:00 AM & 2:00 PM to meet their counselor, pick up their schedule, and take a tour of the building.
