The Chillicothe R-II School District has sold a lot at the intersection of Polk and Grand River Drive to Carol Holder. Board President Clint Williams signed documents to close the sale this (Friday) morning.
The Chillicothe R-II Board of Education approved the sale in the amount of $30,000 to Carol Holder during last week's special Executive Session held September 28 at 7:30 AM. The other bid for the property, located at the intersection of Polk Street and Grand River Drive was submitted by Brian Donath for $25,000.
Superintendent Dan Wiebers noted that the district will deposit $28,253 into Fund 4 from the sale after the commission and closing fees are considered. He added that there is another lot currently for sale in the Christison Subdivision, along with Dewey School and surrounding property.
