The State Board of Education and its Blue Ribbon Commission are hosting a series of eight public engagement meetings across the state this fall to discuss teacher recruitment and retention and one of these meetings will be held at Chillicothe High School on November 10th at 6 -7:30PM in the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center. Specifically, the meetings are designed to:
- Spread the word about the teacher recruitment and retention challenges in our state
- Share the recommendations developed by the Blue Ribbon Commission
- Ask for buy-in from all Missourians to support efforts to address this crisis
