Representatives of Hometown Pharmacy in Chillicothe presented Dr. Dan Wiebers, Chillicothe R-II Superintendent, with a check for $257.75 from the Kap$ 4 Kids," program today (Tuesday). The Kap$ 4 Kids program is designed to help schools raise money through the collection and redemption of specifically marked "Kap$" with the Hometown Pharmacy logo from its prescription bottles.
Wiebers says the funds from this program are used by the District's school nurses to purchase needed nursing supplies for students.
